Statesmanship Party Taking the politics out of public service.

POLITICIANS vs. STATESMEN/WOMEN

Reprinted from Walls In Our Minds, Commen Sense Press, Billings, Montana

"Most Americans are not aware that an alternative to politicians exists. Most Americans have believed so many lies that many believe a government cannot function without politicians. Our lawful form of government was designed by statesmen… Our present government is controlled by politicians and our lawful government was controlled by we, the people. When we, the people, began to believe politicians' lies, our form of government changed dramatically. Statesmen are never elected to public office when voters want to believe politicians' promises…

Statesmen create beneficial servant-governments. Politicians create destructive tyrannical governments.

The difference between Statesmen and Politicians can become even more visible when you consider the following list of contrasts:

A Statesman loves the Constitution. A Politician hates the Constitution.

A Statesman enforces the Constitution. A Politician violates the Constitution.

A Statesman uses truth to keep power in the hands of the people. A Politician uses lies to gain power over the people.

A Statesman's primary concern is to secure freedom for future generations. A Politician's primary concern is to get elected or re-elected.

A Statesman will not play politics with the people's money. A Politician will buy votes with tax money.

A Statesman knows the people must control government. A Politician believes that government should control people.

A Statesman knows the people must limit government's power to tax. A Politician believes government should have unlimited power to tax.

A Statesman gives his (or her) allegiance to the people and country. A Politician gives his (or her) allegiance to government…

This is only a partial list of contrasts but it should give the reader a better comprehension of how dangerous politicians are…"
